Running for a worthy cause!
Year 5 pupil, Daniel Tringham is celebrating his success in the recent ‘Run For The 96’ 5K fun run. As one of 2000 runners taking part this year, Daniel ran alongside his older brother Alex, completing the course in 35 minutes.
Family, friends and teachers showed support by sponsoring the young runner, helping him to raise £350 for ‘Dementia Research’.
“I chose that charity because my nan has been affected by dementia and when I crossed the finishing line I felt a huge sense of achievement.”
Mrs Williams said, “We are immensely proud of all our amazing pupils of which Daniel is one.”
